Teachers: Iman Meiki

This course will cover chapters 4-9 of Al-Kitaab. It will cover the vocabulary and grammatical structures necessary for better comprehension in Modern Standard Arabic. Skills will be developed in listening, reading and speaking.

Textbook: Brustad, K. et al, Al-Kitaab with DVDs Part 1 Georgetown University Press (Second Edition)
Available on Amazon.com and at some university bookstores. 

All classes will supplement textbook material with reading from Arabic newspapers and will introduce you to some Arab songs and cinema.

Wednesdays, 6:15-8:05pm. September 5 - Nov 28 (12 sessions, no class for Thanksgiving week 11/21)

Payment must be received in full before the first class session. We cannot accommodate students who wish to sit in on a class before deciding to enroll. Refunds
If you drop the class after the first session, you will be reimbursed 75% of the fees. No reimbursements will be made after attending the second class.
 
Late Registration
Late registration decisions are made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Language Coordinator. Students allowed to join the class after the first meeting will be charged the full tuition.
