About the artists:

Yousif Yaseen is a guitarist, singer and composer from Kuwait. Using alternative tunings, he uses the guitar in a modified fashion in order to access the language of the Arabic Maqam.

Abdulrahman Alakhfash is renowned across Yemen as a musician and vocalist. He has contributed significantly over the past 20 years to the natural development and enrichment of the Sanani repertoire. His delivery is expressive, occasionally euphoric, but ultimately poetic.
