The free weekly outdoor festivities feature live dance performances, a concert, and film screening from one of the many international locales that fuel Queens’ cultural and artistic vitality. Kids (young and old) are also invited to free artmaking workshop. On July 27, QMA teams up with Alwan to present this culural salute to Egpyt.
In Case of Rain, program moves inside the museum.

He will be accompanied by an Egyptian drummer, accordion player, and qanoun player.
Film: Microphone (Ahmad AbdallahmadAbdalla, Egypt, 120min, 2010, Arabic with English ST) mixes and remixes fiction and cinema verité as it follows KhaledAbol Naga as an Egyptian expatriate who returns to Alexandria, where he dives into a thriving underground music and arts scene.
